Practise naming 2D shapes with this fun song.

Today we will explore capacity. Below are some of the vocabulary we expect children to use and understand when talking about capacity.

 

Full    half full   nearly full

Read these out to your child. Look at the pictures below. Ask your child to use the vocabulary above the describe them.

Say/point to the correct answer.

You could challenge your child with their understanding about capacity when they are in the bath. For example, can you show the jug so it is empty/full/half full etc.
